P.S. I'm a sucker for chick flicks

So today I watched P.S. I love you.. Wow. I mean the story line from thinking about it I thought it would be cheesy. Typically I can endure cheesy but the movie actually gave me a different perspective to life. It may partially be because I just had girl talk with a good friend from Michigan and my roommate. Bottom line is I think the movie was on point.

I appreciate the movie because it touches some things that I've kind of thought about. For example, call this selfish or whatever but I dont want the man I end up falling in love with to die before me. I know life happens and you cant predict who will leave earth first but I really think I would have a hard time continuing life if such a situation happened.

Yeah it had all the other cutesy girly things like.

they met while she was traveling abroad with friends
they had the cute but annoying girls vs. guys arguments
you could see both of them getting frustrated but you realized easily that they both like each other
The guy was hopelessly realistic and did a lot of cute things
and he had a cute Irish accent and he was good looking too

I guess from a girly movie perspective, they put real life into womens world and didnt mess it up by making it too cheesy... I absolutely love it :)

It took me many tries before I finally got through that movie. I thoroughly enjoyed the book but I couldn't say the same for the movie. then again I am not a chic flick kinda gal.

I hated the idea of the notes/messages from the dead but considering how I had nothing else to do :), I could see past the cheesy-ness and enjoy/appreciate the movie.. and then again I am a chic flik kinda gal
