Okay so I remember when I was younger, I used to get laughed at because when I looked through anyone’s stash of printed pictures, I would just flick through it to see if I recognized anyone or if I could find myself and even if it was my own stash, I ran through the pile in record time. Anyway, over the years, I have grown to really love and appreciate pictures.
Today, a picture means a lot more to me. It captures the moment in time and to an extent some details that my mind will never remember. I don’t know when this picture appreciation moment began but now, I can pretty much rehearse an event and recite all the important details from when the picture was taken. In today’s world where people rarely print out pictures, all my pictures are on my computer and I can flick through my albums to share with whomever I please or better yet, I can load them as online albums and email them to friends.

And for those who know me, my favorite pictures make it to my desktop. For the longest time, it was picture of my sis and me when I lived in Atlanta and she came over to visit me(Not sure if she came for me because she wanted to see Shaq and Dwayne Wade play that weekend). I’ve also had the scenery pictures of the places I have visited and pictures of my girlfriends and me in Miami or just beautiful scenery pictures, so I’m going to take time out to switch out the latest pictures… I hope you enjoy them….
Last Picture

Miami Palm Trees…….. Okay so the same palm trees that I grew up with and I didn’t pay attention to where imported to Miami from somewhere in Africa as we were told and they have been well maintained and grown in an artistic manner and now I love palm trees. I also love the picture because it shows that I have a good “photographer eye”. It almost looks like a post card… like some professional took the picture
Current Picture

So after weeks and months of begging for this picture, I was able to ambush David to send it to me. David is one of the cool (I'll say coolest.... especially since he has a link to my blog :) ) people I met in St. Charles during core consulting school training. I like the picture because I feel like it captures an actual sincere smile (not saying that my everyday smile is not sincere) and because it reminds me of a kick off of a new friendship….
Next Picture…
Of course I don’t know who I’ll be missing, what picture will leave me breathless or where I’ll be visiting so I can’t say just yet… but keep watching… you never know....
