So yeah, the Victoria's Secret Semi Annual Sale is going on. I dont know if it started in the stores yet but it definitely is on online. How do I know? Victoria herself sent me an email to let me know :)... Seriously, you can believe me... would I lie to you :)... Anyway, so in her email she sent pictures of all their good stuff and I was like okay I will check it out.
You know the ritual ladies, I'll need to schedule a vacation day so that I can visit about 3 of their stores to find what I like and be all stucked up for the year...
Anyway, I figured I could share another happy funny moment with you. So a year and a half ago, (I think), this guy I was spending time with decides to call me about 10 minutes before the VS fashion show would be aired. I gave him the heads up that I would be hanging up in 9.45 mins since the show would be starting shortly. He taught I was kidding and then it happened on CBS... the music started and I said... alright, thats my queue, you gotta go. He was shocked but I was dead serious... no man should come between a woman and her obsession even if it is just some fancy VS underwear e.t.c. I dont know what it is with their items but I love them. I actually managed to obtain their pink mini dogs earlier this year, I have the V.S key chain (and I remember one of my consultants, in my analyst years used to tease me about it) and other notable things :). ... Back to my story, I'm not sure if he was mad or if I actually scored sexy points with him that night (I didnt hang with him too long to figure that out).
On the flip side, honestly, their sales have not been as good as they used to be but my day off for V.S shopping has long become a ritual that I would have to teach to the younger generation.... Anyway, you get my drift, the sale is going on. Go out and buy yourself or your significant other something nice but wait, if you live in California, dont shop till Saturday so that I can find my own sizes :)
