So I am back in St. Charles for the third time. This can only mean one thing.... more training. I think everyone I work with gets excited about the idea of being away from work and having time to connect with people from all over the world and yeah maybe learn a thing or two.
Anyway, I arrive at the training facility to find out that I got upgraded. Yeah it may not sound like a big deal but listen to this. The first time I was here, I had an assigned roommate in a small room, 2 twin beds, some study tables and a bathroom and that was it. The second time I was here, it was a single room, one where you walk in and you begin looking for the rest of the room. The room must have been twice the width of me and my stretched out hands. and the length maybe 4 times with a tiny bathroom. So getting an upgrade was awesome. I am in a room, the size of a regular hotel with plasma TV, a fridge and a full length mirror. As you can tell I have no complaints.
Being back here brings back some cool memories. There really is no telling what the end of the week will bring. A part of me is looking forward to it and another part is nervous. I feel like its first day of high school in a new neighborhood and I am going through the jitters you get, what if I hate it, what if I dont like the people, what if blah blah bla. The good thing is that it lasts till 1 PM on Friday so I can always come back to my room and hide out behind the plasma during the week if I really hate it but I doubt that I will.
Finally, why do I always forget something when I come out here. My first time out here, it was a little too cold and I didnt have my jacket. My second time, I forgot to bring something to wear to Cadillac Ranch (The company's famous hangout spot) and now this time, I forgot some gym shoes and the weather is nice, I could have gone to kick butt on the soccer field.
Anyway, hopefully I'll meet some cool characters this week :)
