San Francisco Boat Cruise

This week, we had an account wide team event (Everyone from my company working at this client site) came together for a boat cruise organized by Commodore Events. Like any other work event it was fun. The boat left at 6 meaning we had to leave the office at 5 on the dot, drive crazily through the San Francisco traffic and get to the pier on time before the 6:15 departure. As usual with all the maps that were in the car, we took a wrong turn and ended up at the Oakland airport before we realized, turned around and finally made our way back to the boat at 6.

We started up with drinks, and a light dinner. I am learning that no matter how much you live or visit a place, you can never cover everything that you think is fun to do... There is always that other place to see or that thing to go do. I got to see a different side of San Francisco and this time, I was not shy with the camera. The boat went from Oakland to the bay bridge, to the AT&T park, went for a little longer and finally came back.

I got to mingle with the rest of my project team, I made a new friend from Thailand (Jib)who will be sharing all the hotspots of the place with me (Shopping Mmm). Senior Executives were also in attendance and I got to meet a couple and chat with them and more importantly get them to know who I am. After dinner came dancing and I've learned that regardless of what mood I am in, Music puts me in a good mood and I am never shy to dance :) . Oh yeah and they played one of my favorite-right-now songs - I've got you under my skin...Michael Buble.

It was a good break away from the office and I had a blast especially with all the fun pictures I got to take. Maybe my project is not so bad after all :).... I dont know...
