Goodbye Europe

So, the rest of London was a breeze, Bola and I went shopping for most of Friday and for some reason nothing caught my attention. I mean nothing at all. I know every once in a while I get those not shopping days and if the entire mall was free I still would not buy anything.

Saturday, we did all the touristy things we could find to do like St James Park, Buckingham Palace, trafalgar square, the London Eye, Big Ben, River Thames and then we went back to Leicester Square so that Bola could see it... Took loads of pictures as well. I also got to meet up with Fola, one of my guy friends I've known since JSS1 (7th grade). He is doing really well for himself and I was glad to see that. I talked to Simi and Maurice from JSS1 (7th grade) as well. I didnt get to see them but it was great hearing their voices. They are now parents :)

And then I got sick. I ended up sleeping for most of the rest of the vacation. It was great overall and I must say that I have no complaints. I had a good time. My only complaint is that people smoke a lot. Between Paris, France and U.K, I feel like via second hand smoke (because I dont smoke), I would have probably smoked about a pack of cigarette.

My final thoughts
London - Amazing city, nice shopping areas, reminds me a lot of New York, not too customer service focused...a.k.a people are not too friendly. A lot of nigerians are there. I remember hearing jokes about it before i went. Oh people speaking in yoruba in the street as though they were still in Nigeria and when I got there it was like a reality check, I got off the train and some Nigerian dude was trying to holler at me. A couple others were out speaking to each other in yoruba and I remembr thinking, this is real.
Barcelona - Beautiful city, friendly men, nice shopping district, loads of touristy things to do and great clubs. Romantic people or should I say horny... Everytime we got on the train, there was a couple making out. I mean every single time.
Paris - Amazing buildings and a lot of history as well, romantic city and loads of shopping. It's funny everytime we got on the train, there was a beggar asking for some change.

My favorite city was Barcelona and I hope I get to go back to visit it soon and maybe this time spend some more time there.
